A New Gated Community in the Stars
Isar Aerospace is already looking toward a second launch site in Canada, diversifying its footprint to ensure the money keeps flowing. They will secure more military contracts, and the ESA will likely keep the funding coming.
But when the "innovative strength" of a few is paid for by the many, the result is never a public good. It is a gated community. We are trading the sovereignty of nations for the efficiency of a balance sheet.
